Following the Vision Capital Fund Raising Campaign August 2008 Update: We now have electricity and water on the land. Financial commitments are still coming in well. Several events are planned...stay tuned for more updates!
Our Following The Vision Campaign Continues - What A Blessing to Be A Part!
Step 1 of our campaign is complete. Since late January, much time and prayer have been committed to the success of the Following the Vision Capital Fund Raising Campaign. The initial campaign was completed with generous giving commitments turned in on April 27. A "First Fruits" Offering was received on May 4. Totals for these amounts were announced during the worship service May 11 and topped $500,000. We began our generous giving toward the Vision Fund and will continue for three years. God has richly blessed us on our journey and those blessings will continue as we follow His will in our lives. Thanks to all of our church family that have helped make step one of this campaign a success. The testimonies, the group fellowships, the prayer cards, and the sweet spirit of our church family were all instrumental in helping us as we move toward the ground breaking of our new campus. But the real commitment has just begun...prayer and studying of the scriptures is very important as we seek to continue to follow God's will. Remember any one can join the commitment at any time! Make sure you are part of the continuing growth of this wondrous work for our Lord!

The Vision Fund
These past few months have been filled with spiritual growth and much prayer as we seek God's leadership in this important time in our church. We hope you have gained stewardship truths from this campaign and are glad you are part of this exciting time in our church and look forward as we are Following the Vision.
We encourage you to continue praying and reading the Bible as you seek God's will in your personal life and your role in our church family. Our generous giving three year commitment has started. As God leads, we can increase or decrease this amount at any time. Also, any one may give toward the Vision Fund without having signed a commitment card.
The Vision Fund is an excellent way to honor loved ones and friends for their birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions as well as remember those that have gone on before us.
We must remember that although we have committed to the generous giving offerings, we must still be faithful in our regular tithes and offerings to ensure the work of our Lord through our ongoing ministries.
Step 2 of the campaign is Follow-up. You will be receiving reports of how well our giving is going on a regular basis. Also new members will be given a chance to join in the campaign. If at any time you have questions, please contact one of the team members.
Following the Vision Team Update How excited we were when we learned a combined total over 350 persons were involved in making the campaign a success! When God's people work together, expect great things to happen. Over 500,000 has been committed over a three year period and to date over $100,000 has been given.
Future Plan Team Update The first draft of the new campus architectural plans are on display in the foyer and hallways of the sanctuary. Please review them and offer suggestions, ask questions, or just comment to a member of the Future Planning Team. We are working with the architect to make sure the needs for the future growth of our church are met. There will be power on the land within the next few weeks. The prayer garden is being prepared, plans for the amphitheater are being drawn, and the people are getting excited!
The Trustees have now listed the current campus for sale with a local realtor. Please keep this in your prayers. Pray for God's will in the sale of the current campus.
Please continue to pray for the Future Planning Team as they continue their assigned tasks.
